China will launch nuclear-powered aircraft carrier by 2025

 

China might have a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in the water by 2025. China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), which refitted China’s first aircraft carrier and built its second confirmed that a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier was in the works. The reports are from the South China Morning Post and the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation.
CSIC is also working on a new type of nuclear submarine, submarine artificial intelligence combat systems and a “comprehensive electronic information system” for maritime battles.
China is currently building a conventionally powered third aircraft carrier. It was previously believed that China’s the fifth carrier (CV20) will be nuclear powered.

China is installing AI systems on its nuclear submarines as part of computer upgrades to aid decision-making.
Nuclear power will provide power an advanced electromagnetic aircraft launch system.
